Atherosclerosis is characterized by the formation of atheromatous plaques in the inner layer of the arterial wall, leading to narrowing of the arterial lumen and obstruction of blood flow. This lesion usually occurs in medium and large arteries, such as coronary arteries, carotid arteries. Vitalstar has constructed the Apoe KO and Ldlr KO models, which can be used for atherosclerosis research, and can also undertake evaluation services for corresponding drugs.
MASH

MASH generally manifests as obesity, insulin resistance, steatohepatitis, hepatocellular ballooning, fibrosis, and atherosclerosis. MASH models often used in preclinical experiments include genetic animal models, diet-induced animal models and animal models constructed by combining genetic and diet-induced animal models.
