Liposome cell transfection is a common method, but for some tumor cell lines, the efficiency is very low. Viral transgenesis becomes an effective alternative, with lentivirus and adenovirus being commonly used methods. Lentivirus integrates foreign genes into cells and is often used to establish transgenic cell lines, cell fluorescence marking, etc. Adenovirus does not integrate into the genome and can be used for transient transfection of cells. The preparation of adenovirus is more complex and longer than that of lentivirus.
