Development
Using random transgenic technology, the complete gene sequence of hGLP1R BAC , including introns, exons, 5'UTR and 3'UTR, along with the BAC sequences of 5'UTR and 3'UTR, were injected into fertilized mouse eggs of C57 mice. This resulted in the creation of mice expressing the hGLP1R protein.
The glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor (GLP-1R) is one of the most effective targets for treating Type 2 diabetes. This strain can be used for research on the pathogenesis of metabolic diseases such as obesity and Type 2 diabetes, as well as for the development and screening of GLP-1RA class drugs.
