Development
In C57 mice, CRISPR/Cas9 technology was utilized to knockout the Cyp3a57 gene and the Cyp3a59 gene, as well as genes located between the two, ultimately resulting in mice with nonfunctional proteins for Cyp3a16, Cyp3a25, Cyp3a41, Cyp3a44, Cyp3a57, Cyp3a58-ps, and Cyp3a59.
